The Present and Future of Sustainability in U.S. Public Transit

Seattle, WA

The goal of this trip is to give students an understanding of trends in US public transportation by zooming into the challenges and opportunities different cities and regions face. Our spring break trip will occur in Seattle, home of the US’ most robust and diverse public transit network. We will work with government workers and organizations engaged in:

Advocating for more accessible transit.

Electrifying all of Seattle busses and cars.

Planning and developing Seattle public transit.

Smooth integration of Seattle's different transit systems.
