The goal of this trip is to give students an understanding of trends in US public transportation by zooming into the challenges and opportunities different cities and regions face.

Our spring break trip will occur in New York City, home of the US’ busiest public transit network. We will work with government workers and organizations engaged in:

Advocating for cheaper transit fares.

Electrifying all of NYC’s busses and cars.

Hey y’all! My name’s Mario, and I’m a senior from San Antonio, Texas majoring in Urban Studies with a concentration in Urban Sustainability. I love talking all things live music, public transportation, and clean energy. I also love playing basketball, exploring new cities, and decorating my room with random trinkets.

Aqib's currently a junior studying mechanical engineering and has a deep rooted commitment to sustainability and systems optimization.
